1. About Adoptrees

Adoptrees is an online green gifting and environmental contribution platform where individuals and organizations can adopt, gift, or sponsor real trees. Our team undertakes the responsibility of planting, maintaining, and providing lifecycle updates of each tree.

By using our platform, you acknowledge that your tree adoption is a symbolic act of environmental contribution and not an ownership of land, forest, or timber.

2. User Eligibility

You may use Adoptrees only if:

• You are 18 years or older,
• You can enter legally binding agreements,
• The information you provide is accurate and complete.

Creating fake accounts or misusing the platform is strictly prohibited.

3. User Account

To adopt or gift trees, users must create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain confidentiality of your login details
• Immediately notify Adoptrees of unauthorized access
• Accept that all actions taken under your account are your responsibility

Adoptrees reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious activity.

4. Tree Allocation, Plantation & Maintenance

When a user adopts or gifts a tree:

• The tree will be planted at one of our verified plantation sites.
• The exact location may vary based on climate suitability, soil quality, and plantation cycles.
• After plantation, users will receive:
  • Geo-tag location
  • A photograph of their actual tree
  • A digital adoption certificate with QR code

Lifetime Maintenance Guarantee

Adoptrees maintains the tree for its natural lifespan by:

• Watering
• Mulching
• Fertilizing (organic)
• Seasonal care
• Growth monitoring

In case a tree dies naturally, it will be replanted at no additional cost, ensuring continuity of your contribution.

5. Nature of Ownership

By adopting a tree through Adoptrees:

• You do not acquire ownership of land, plantation site, or tree produce.
• Your adoption signifies environmental support, not commercial rights.
• Adoptrees retains operational rights to manage trees for maximum ecological benefit.

6. Pricing & Payments

• Prices are displayed in INR and include applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed through trusted gateways.
• Adoptrees does not store sensitive card or banking information.
• All transactions are final once plantation allocation begins.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Exploit the platform for illegal or fraudulent activities
• Publish abusive, harmful, or misleading content
• Copy, distribute, or resell platform content
• Disrupt platform operations or security

Violation may result in account ban without refunds.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Adoptrees—logos, photographs, videos, certificates, designs, documents, layouts, and branding—is protected under copyright and trademark laws.

No user is allowed to replicate, modify, or distribute this content without written permission.

9. Liability & Indemnification

Adoptrees is not responsible for:

• Environmental delays (rain, drought, natural disasters)
• Third-party failures (digital services, payment delays)
• Misuse of services by users

You agree to indemnify Adoptrees from any liabilities arising from misuse of the platform or violation of our policies.

10. Changes to Terms

Adoptrees may update Terms & Conditions periodically. The latest version always supersedes previous ones.

11. Governing Law

All disputes are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Hyderabad, Telangana having jurisdiction.
